Several departments and divisions of Dubai Police participated in an exhibition organised alongside the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, which was held at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah from the 1st to the 5th of February.

The sixth edition of the challenge features over 100 teams from six continents, making it a global platform for tactical excellence and law enforcement collaboration.

Preventive and Awareness Efforts

The Hemaya International Centre of the General Department of Anti-Narcotcs engaged with visitors through an awareness platform highlighting its educational initiatives on the dangers of drug abuse. The centre showcased its key prevention strategies and programmes aimed at shielding youth from the perils of addiction. It also empowered school students to participate actively in awareness efforts, fostering a safer community.

Dubai Police Museum

A dedicated booth for the Dubai Police Museum provided visitors with a journey through the force’s evolution, technological advancements, and historical milestones. The exhibit featured a collection of law enforcement artefacts, counter-narcotics equipment, forgery detection tools, and high-profile criminal case displays, offering attendees a glimpse into the sophisticated techniques used by Dubai Police in crime prevention and investigation.

World Police Summit

Dubai Police also featured an exclusive showcase of the upcoming World Police Summit 2025, scheduled from 13th to 15th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Recognised as the premier global platform for law enforcement collaboration and innovation, the summit will address critical challenges in crime prevention, cybersecurity, and future policing strategies. It serves as a hub for government entities, private sector stakeholders, and industry innovators to exchange knowledge and shape the future of policing.

Community Volunteering

A dedicated volunteering booth was set up to encourage community members and police personnel to engage in diverse volunteer opportunities, including humanitarian, environmental, social, and educational initiatives. Volunteers receive official certification for their contributions, aligning with Dubai Police’s commitment to fostering social responsibility and a culture of active community participation.

Khalid Magazine: Shaping Young Minds

The Dubai Police Security Media Department displayed a special edition of “Khalid” magazine, a publication designed for children aged 9 to 15. The magazine promotes moral, national, and security values through educational yet entertaining content, reinforcing safety awareness and national identity among young readers. Illustrative storytelling and engaging activities make the magazine an effective tool for youth development, in line with Dubai Police’s vision for community outreach.

Al Sunaa Studio: Creative Engagement for Young Visitors Al Sunaa (Makers) Studio engaged children and young visitors through interactive art workshops, fostering creativity and innovation. The workshops focused on police heritage and key landmarks, including Naif Fort, while allowing participants to enhance their artistic skills through painting, sculpting, and creative design activities. The initiative aimed to instil a deeper understanding of Dubai’s policing history while providing an enjoyable and educational experience.
