MTB Competition for SWAT Teams Kicks Off at Al Ruwayyah Training City Tomorrow

The Mountain Bike Competition for police teams and tactical units participating in the UAE SWAT Challenge will take place tomorrow, Friday, at Al Ruwayyah Training City in Dubai. The one-day event will bring together international tactical teams eager to test their endurance and marksmanship skills ahead of the main competition.

Brigadier Obaid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee for the UAE SWAT Challenge, stated that the Mountain Bike Competition is an optional event for tactical teams wishing to participate before the official UAE SWAT Challenge kicks off on Saturday.

He explained that the competition features a 1.35 km winding track, where each five-member team will race from the starting line to the shooting range, where they will engage multiple targets before continuing towards the finish line. The competition, which begins at 8:00 AM and is open to the public, will allow spectators to witness elite tactical and police teams in action. Winning teams will be awarded cash prizes.
