

Six new teams have announced their intention to join the sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, organized by Dubai Police on Saturday, February 1, at the training city in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai. This increases the total number of participating teams to 120, up from 114 worldwide.
The teams that have shown interest in participating are teams from the U.S., a team from Russia, a team from Tajikistan, a team from Armenia, and two teams from Brunei, all eager to take part in this event that showcases various tactical teams and specialized police units from around the globe.
The organizing committee for the UAE SWAT Challenge has confirmed its full readiness to launch the event, both in terms of logistics and on-the-ground activities, as the participating teams begin to arrive. The total prize money for the challenge is set at $260,000.
It’s worth mentioning that the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 is the largest event of its kind for special units and tactical teams, featuring participants from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The event is open to the public, allowing spectators to watch the teams compete over five days and cheer for their respective countries.
