Intensive training sessions are currently taking place at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai, where tactical police teams and special units are preparing for the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, set to kick off next Saturday, February 1, at the same venue.
The Organizing Committee for the challenge has confirmed that the teams arriving in the country have started their training according to a specific schedule for each group. They noted that the teams are demonstrating high commitment and professionalism as they prepare for the various challenges in the competition.
The tactical police teams and special units have shown exceptional readiness by arriving early in the country and preparing in advance at home by selecting the best personnel capable of achieving top results in the challenge.
The teams have begun training for five key events: Tactical Operations Challenge, Assault Challenge, Officer Rescue Mission, High Tower Climb, and Obstacle Course. Each event requires teams to complete it in the shortest possible time to earn the highest points, while also showcasing accuracy in hitting targets, using multiple weapons, carrying heavy dummies, navigating difficult obstacles, and descending from the top of the tower using ropes, among other tasks
