Dubai, United Arab Emirates– 05 February 2026: The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Her Excellency Ou Boqian, confirmed that China is participating in the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026 with six specialised police teams, including two women’s teams, following a rigorous national qualification process involving 48 elite teams.

Her Excellency Ou Boqian visited the site of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, where she reviewed the preparations and readiness of the six Chinese teams competing in the seventh edition of the global event.

During her visit, the Consul General affirmed the full preparedness of the Chinese specialised police teams and their readiness for the competition. These trials resulted in the selection of six outstanding teams to represent China at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, including two women’s teams. She described this achievement as a reflection of the high standards, operational excellence, and continued progress of Chinese police units, while also expressing pride in the strong representation of Chinese women at this international event.

Her Excellency Ou Boqian also called on the Chinese community in the United Arab Emirates to attend the event and support their national teams. In addition, she invited Chinese communities around the world to follow the competitions through the official live broadcast.
