Dubai, United Arab Emirates– 09 February 2026: Following two days of intense competition at the Al Ruwayyah Training City, the leaderboard for the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026 is beginning to take shape.

Out of 109 elite tactical units representing 48 nations, 10 standout teams have secured the highest overall scores after completing the gruelling ‘Hostage Rescue’ and ‘Assault’ challenges.

Kazakhstan has dominated the early stages, with their ‘C’ and ‘A’ teams clinching the top two spots respectively. They are closely followed by the Royal Thai Police ‘A’ in third place and Royal Thai Police ‘B’ in fourth, while Russia’s ‘Malakhit 3’ rounds out the top five.

The competitive spirit remains high across the board, with the Special Police Operations from Jordan taking sixth place, followed by China Police ‘A’ in seventh. Kyrgyzstan’s National Security Committee holds the eighth spot, with the San Antonio Police Department (USA) in ninth and Kazakhstan ‘D’ finishing the top 10.

Overall scores currently range from 326 to 251 points. However, the rankings are expected to shift significantly as the competition progresses into the next phases, including the ‘Officer Rescue’, ‘Tower Challenge’, and the physically demanding ‘Obstacle Course’.

Running until Wednesday, the UAE SWAT Challenge is one of the world’s premier events for special units and tactical teams. It serves as a vital platform for international cooperation, allowing teams from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas to exchange expertise and test their readiness against the latest global standards in rapid intervention.

The hunt for the ultimate title continues as teams push their physical and mental limits in this world-class display of tactical excellence.
