Challenge Flow
This section provides a detailed overview of the entire Assault Challenge, explaining team buildup, sequence of events in the challenge, equipment stages, obstacle layout, shooting points, and penalty zones, telling how the course is organized from start to finish.
01/04
BEGINNING
The entire team gathers at the starting area called the Loading and Unloading zone for a safety check. They must don eye and ear protection, and body armor. When they hear the command 'Go,' the team gets out of the van and starts going through the obstacle course. All team members and their gear, including the Ram that they must pick from the van, must go over every obstacle. The only time gear can go under is during low-crawl sections.
Safety Rules

Handle Gear Safely
- Never throw or mishandle weapons, ram, & dummies.
- Make Rifle, SMG, & shotgun safe/holstered before moving.
- Do not touch triggers or Pistol grips while holstered.
- Stay behind shields & follow the marked path closely.

Sniper-Specific
- Rifle stays in box until SFP #1, with no loose attachments
- Barrel must align in guide before firing the sniper.
- Eye protection required for all handgun shots.

Weapons Engagement
- No aiming in air or at undesignated targets/lanes.
- Holster handguns until in AFP #2 shooting box.
- Load Shotgun, SMG, & Rifle only when stationary, cover up
