21 September 2025Registration Opens for the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026
Dubai Police has opened registration for the seventh edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge, inviting special police units, rapid-intervention teams, and tactical squads from around the world to compete in Dubai from 7 to 11 February 2026. Teams can register via the official website www.uaeswatchallenge.com by completing the required details and uploads.

20 March 2025China Crowned Champions of the Sixth UAE SWAT Challenge
The China Police Team “B” secured the championship title in the sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, finishing at the top of the overall leaderboard with 480 points. In second place was the Sunkar team from Kazakhstan, earning 470 points, while China Police Team “C” claimed third place with 457 points.

Warrant Officer Elma Kemp, the only female member of South Africa’s Special Task Force in Pretoria, leads an all-male team with determination and resilience. As the commander of South Africa’s men’s team, she has broken barriers and shattered expectations, proving that skill and perseverance know no gender.

22 February 2025World SWAT Teams Put Training to the Test in Adrenaline-Pumping Officer Rescue Event
The UAE SWAT Challenge 2023 continued on its third day, with the Officer Rescue event being the highlight of the day. The event saw five-man teams consisting of four assault team members and one sniper competing to rescue a hostage from a simulated hostile environment. The event was attended by numerous officials and senior officers, including retried His Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and General Security in Dubai, and Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri.
